Description of Opportunity

Job Summary & Requirements

Provide consultation and Occupational Therapy services to address the cognitive, physical, psychiatric and psychosocial needs of the mental health and addiction patients on the in‑patient unit through groups or individual therapy to support their recovery and wellbeing. Provide specific standardized assessments of cognitive and functional living skills, ADLs, IADLs and mental status assessments.

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited university program of Occupational Therapy
• Master degree in Occupational Therapy is preferred.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and membership with the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
