Ocean Export Documentation Specialist

The Opportunity

Our client is looking for an ocean export documentation specialist with strong customer service abilities and sociable interpersonal skills to join the relaxed environment in their congenial and professional office. Familiarity with ocean FCL shipping and documentation are required.

Position Description

Document preparation as it pertains to commercial shipments for the global movement of international freight, primarily of grains and other commodities. Coordination and collaboration with carriers, vendors and overseas agents. Consistent, professional and attentive interaction with internal and external customers. Ensure that export documentation is correctly created and filed appropriately to facilitate the customer’s needs. Complete, bill and close all files as outlined by company processes.
