Ocean Freight Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

1. Communicate with overseas offices for import & export routing orders
2. Handle most aspects of Ocean operations in a freight forwarder
3. Responsible and mature attitude
4. Willingness to share her/his mind during meetings on ways to improve work flow
5. Work well in a team setting / ability to mentor her/his own team in the near future.

Job Requirements

1. Must have experience working in a freight forwarder setup (sea freight, warehousing, trucking, brokerage) in an operations capacity.
2. The candidate must have her/his own network of shipping lines contacts. Having trucking & customs broker contact network are a plus.
3. Current operations people from shipping lines will also be considered for this position.
