This newly created position is responsible to manage carrier relationships for all transportation activities within Asia and other regions.

The Challenges

• Establish & maintain general and specialized ocean freight rates for the trades specified.
• Handle RFQ/Tenders sent by the networks and agent in related trades.
• Act as escalation point on carrier or consolidator operational issues when needed (e.g., space, equipment, rates etc.)
• Manage service contracts related to the responsible trades
• Establish and maintain good relationships with carriers, overseas agents and vendors
