Ocean Import Manager

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop a positive relationship with assigned accounts through pro-active communication and providing timely and accurate information
• Develop Business Plan
• Be responsible for compliance and quality issues for the ocean product
• Ensure that productivity and profitability goals for ocean department are met
• Help create Customs forms and obtain Customs release of shipments
• Coordinate and confirm release and delivery of all cargo while updating appropriate event codes

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four year college or university; or 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures
