Oceanside Family Practitioner Role

Become part of the Oceanside Health Centre as a Family Practitioner, specializing in urgent care. This permanent role provides the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic on Vancouver Island.
As a Family Practitioner, you will be engaged in delivering high-quality urgent medical care within an environment supported by emergency-trained RNs. The clinic is operational from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM, offering flexible working arrangements including full-time, part-time, and casual options. You will utilize onsite imaging and limited lab testing while ensuring efficient patient care and triage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide immediate, urgent care to patients
• Work alongside a team of emergency-certified RNs
• Triage patients using the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale
• Access various onsite medical imaging and service points
• Coordinate referrals for higher-level care at regional hospitals
