Job Description

POSITION: OFFICE CLERK/ENCODER

JOB DESCRIPTION & QUALIFICATIONS:
Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth office operations. The role primarily involves accurate data entry, maintaining records, preparing documents, and assisting with general office tasks.

  • Encode and update data accurately into computer systems or databases
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain files, records, and documents (both digital and physical)
  • Assist in preparing reports, forms, and correspondence
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and printing
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, and basic office software)
  • Basic knowledge of office procedures and record-keeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience as an office clerk, encoder, or in a similar administrative role is preferred BUT NOT ALWAYS REQUIRED.
