Oil Spill Responder - Galveston, TX (NSE)

Marine Spill Response Corporation ( MSRC) is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Oil Spill Responder  to join our team in Galveston, TX . This is a full-time, onsite position reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. As an Oil Spill Responder you will be a vital team member supporting our mission to keep coastal waters clean by mitigating oil spills.

Responsibilities:

• • Participate in deployment, retrieval, cleaning, and storage of oil boom and sorbent materials, and assist in oil spill clean-up activities. 

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and inspections on response equipment, including maintenance and safety reports.

• Ability to learn and operate small boats including use of navigation and radar equipment.

• Ability to adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.
