The Group reporting accountant is responsible for preparing the consolidated financial results and reports for Old Mutual East Africa. This role involves reviewing and analysing subsidiaries' financial information and commentaries and preparing consolidated results, financial statements, commentaries and reports for management, board, Group, regulators and any other internal and external stakeholders.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and commentaries in line with IFRS, local GAAP and Group guidelines/policies.
• Timely preparation of finance related management and board papers for board committees as may be required.
• Performance reviews, trend analysis and variance analysis against key performance metrics and provision of suitable commentary for subsidiaries and Group.
