O&M Engineer

Job Description

A large renewable energy company offering solar solutions in the C&I space with offices across South Africa is looking for a O&M Engineer to join their dynamic, growing team.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Solar PV systems operate efficiently and to keep energy production and demand savings for each system in line with the expectations of the client and within contracted performance guarantees.

Minimum requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, coupled with prior experience in the solar industry ideal.

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems and components,

Your responsibilities will include:

• Plan and execute regular maintenance on solar PV plants, including scheduling cleaning of systems, repairing equipment, identifying, and addressing any faults or potential problems,
