Job Overview
GigaMare Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced On-Call Instructor (Engine Fitter / Marine Technical) to deliver high-quality classroom and workshop-based training. The ideal candidate has strong shipboard experience, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively train and mentor marine trainees.
Qualifications
Engine Fitter Qualification
Minimum of five (5) years shipboard experience
IMO Model Course 6.09 Certification
Training Course for Instructors (Required)
Welding Competency
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge
Able to conduct hands-on welding demonstrations
Capable of supervising workshop training safely
Lathe Machine Operation Competency
Skilled in machining operations
Experience supervising practical training sessions
Strong understanding of workshop safety procedures
