On-Site Intermediate Analyst at Paracel

Paracel Laboratories in Ottawa is hiring an Intermediate Laboratory Analyst specializing in trace metals using ICP-MS technology. This role combines analysis, maintenance, and quality assurance.
You will work directly in the Metals Group, engaging in high-volume sample analysis while ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards. This permanent role requires at least 3 years of ICP-MS operational experience. You'll support the Senior Analyst with technical challenges and maintain top performance in our laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze environmental samples for trace metals using ICP-MS
• Review and enter data into LIMS systems
• Prepare samples and manage reagent standards
• Tune and maintain ICP-MS for optimal performance
• Resolve non-conformance issues in collaboration with the team
Requirements:
• B.Sc. or relevant Chemical/Biology Technology Diploma
• Three or more years of ICP-MS experience
• Background in environmental testing is a plus
