**Summary**
Missional University seeks an **experienced Instructional Design Manager **who works directly with faculty to build and produce online courses and material including advising faculty in the selection of appropriate media and presentation tools and methods.
The specialist will consult with faculty, recommend media and tools, and advise on multimedia production issues.
The specialist is responsible for developing and delivering technical training to online faculty in the use of tools for teaching distance learning classes using the Moodle learning management system.
The specialist is also responsible for ensuring course development adheres to the Quality Matters set of standards in online course development.
To accomplish the tasks, the person will need a deep rooted understanding of messaging for multi-ethnic, global, evangelical Christian audiences, a firm grasp of educational technology, and demonstrated intercultural communication skills.
