Job Description

                    Review outpatient medical records and assign appropriate ICD -10 CM, CPT and HCPS Level II codes. 
Ensure compliance with official coding guidelines and payer requirements. 
Abstract and input coded data into electronic health record (EHR) and billing systems. 
Maintain productivity and quality standards as defined by the department. 
Stay current with updates to coding regulations and reimbursement changes. 
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
