The successful candidate will be responsible to create new data, demonstrating the capabilities and limitations in the use of carbon-based radiation detectors in mixed neutron-gamma fields and moreover, lead to the development of new detection systems which will be tested within a wide range of neutron energies.
The research will be conducted primarily at the accelerator facility of the Ruđer Bošković institute (RBI) managed by the Laboratory for ion beam interactions, Experimental physics division of RBI in Zagreb, Croatia. Part of the experimental work will be done in the Budapest Neutron Center (BNC) which is a Hungarian partner facility within CERIC-ERIC.
Qualifications and other requirements
We require a Masters or equivalent degree in physics. The successful candidate should have a degree in physics and has obligation to enrol to a PhD studies in physics. Therefore the candidates should...
