Operation & Maintenance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor the real-time performance of solar PV and BES systems through SCADA, remote monitoring platform, and onsite inspections.
• Track energy generation, system availability, and performance ratios against benchmarks.
• Identify underperforming components or systems and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain system documentation, logs, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly performance.
• Prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PV modules, inverters, transformers, switchgears, and other system components.
• Respond promptly to faults, alarms, and breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged components with vendors or subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance work, energy generation, and equipment downtime.
