Operational Buyer

Job Summary
The Operational Buyer is responsible for managing supplier shipments, monitoring delivery performance, handling rejected parts follow-up, and ensuring timely updates of PO delivery status. The role supports production continuity by ensuring material availability and effective supplier coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor and follow up on shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
Track and update PO delivery status accurately in the system.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding delayed shipments and expedite where necessary.
Handle rejected or non-conforming parts follow-up with suppliers and coordinate corrective actions.
Work closely with QA and production teams to resolve material issues.
Prepare and update purchasing and delivery performance reports.
Support sourcing activities for Standard Components and Machining Parts when required.
Maintain good supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations.
