Operational Risk and Compliance Manager

We’re looking for an Operational Risk & Compliance Manager to provide high‑quality risk advisory and assurance services across the Product, Sustainability and Marketing (PSM) division. As a trusted advisor, you’ll enable and mature PSM’s management of risks within appetite while operationalising Westpac New Zealand’s risk management strategy. Your expertise will support risk assessments that enable informed, risk‑based decisions, including ad‑hoc advisory, risk profiling, control assurance, and risk‑in‑change activities. You’ll work closely with, and support, our Business Products team, providing practical risk guidance aligned to their delivery and priorities. You’ll also contribute to improving and embedding our Compliance and Conduct Frameworks, maintaining the business compliance plan, preparing reporting packs, and spotting trends, emerging risks, or regulatory changes that may impact business objectives.
