Operations Executive

About the Role

A well-known commodities trading firm is seeking two Operations Executives to support our growing operations. This role involves close coordination with vessel operators, suppliers, and customers as well as hands-on involvement in shipping and trading activities. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Documentation

• Handle Letters of Credit (L/C) and shipping documentation
• Coordinate daily shipping operations and logistics activities
• Liaise with banks, suppliers, customers, and carriers to ensure smooth execution
• Provide operational support for vessel chartering (Tankers & Bulk Carriers)
• Support Trading Managers with sales and operational matters
• Monitor loading and discharging operations to avoid demurrage
• Resolve vessel-related issues by coordinating with relevant parties
• Draft and issue sales contracts to buyers
