Operations manager

Duties and Responsibilities: Establish and manage a transport broking division in Zambia focused on African operations (excluding South Africa). Oversee daily operations and lead the local logistics team. Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery. Drive business growth through budgeting, planning, and recruitment. Supervise, train, and develop a high-performing logistics team. Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Resolve operational issues and maintain strong service levels. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. Use logistics systems and technology to improve operational efficiency and visibility.
