Operations Specialist

An established global energy trading company is looking for an experienced Operations Specialist, Fuel Oil to join its Singapore office.
This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of fuel oil cargo trades, ensuring seamless coordination between traders, chartering, terminals, inspectors, and counterparties. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cargo movements are executed efficiently while managing operational risks in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full operational lifecycle of fuel oil cargo trades, from trade confirmation through cargo delivery and final settlement.
Coordinate closely with traders, chartering teams, vessel operators, terminals, agents, inspectors, and counterparties to ensure smooth cargo execution.
Handle vessel nominations, scheduling, and monitoring of loading/discharge operations to ensure adherence to contractual timelines.
