Operations Specialist

An established global energy trading company is looking for an experienced Operations Specialist, Fuel Oil to join its Singapore office.

This role is responsible for the end-to-end operational execution of fuel oil cargo trades, ensuring seamless coordination between traders, chartering, terminals, inspectors, and counterparties. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cargo movements are executed efficiently while managing operational risks in a fast-paced trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full operational lifecycle of fuel oil cargo trades, from trade confirmation through cargo delivery and final settlement.
• Coordinate closely with traders, chartering teams, vessel operators, terminals, agents, inspectors, and counterparties to ensure smooth cargo execution.
