Operations Specialist (Wire Investigations)

The **Wire Investigations** team handles requests for wires that have already been processed. This can include, but not limited, to amendments (updating a wire), traces (locating the wire), and recalls (the wire needs to be returned). This involves research within wire platforms and communicating with clients and banks all over the world. Wire Investigations is an essential part of operations as it assists UMB’s clients ensuring their wire payments get to where they need to be.

As **Operations Specialists** , you will support and manage the day-to-day transactions of UMB’s wires for domestic and international clients. As the primary task of assisting clients with their wire needs, you will be a vital part to the continued success of UMB’s wires team and electronic payments department. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives as assigned by Bank Operations leadership.
