Operations Support Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for maritime professionals looking to join our dynamic team as an Operations Support Officer. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone who has a background or familiarity in vessel operations/support functions and wants to advance their career in a supportive workplace.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

In this role you will:

• Support operations throughout all phases of voyage execution for allocated vessels.
• Process Off-Hire cases from initial registration to approval.
• Interact daily with vessels, vessel managers and G2 Ocean`s Trade/Operation teams.
• Prepare LOIs (Letter of Indemnity) as linked with non- presentation of Bills of Lading.
• Nominate and coordinate periodic underwater services with various local service providers as hull inspections, propeller polish and hull cleanings contributing to enhanced vessel performance.
