Operations Support Specialist (OSS)

Summary

/Objective: The Operations Support Specialist (OSS) will be responsible for the material flow in the production work centers and will coordinate and communicate to cross functional sections, upstream and downstream production work centers to manage the order flow until customer delivery.Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:1. Schedule and plan the order by using Scheduling Dashboard or any other equivalent tool to meet the MDD (Manufacturing Due Date) by ensuring the material, people and machine capacity availability.2. Look for the opportunities to batch orders to minimize changeovers without compromising due dates.3. Communicate and coordinate with other shift supervisors to ensure smooth execution according to the plan.4. Monitor, manage and follow through (physically locate) on orders to ensure they flow through the processes and are on track to meet the MDD.
