Operations Trainer

About the role:

Based in Kalgoorlie this opportunity would suit a qualified locomotive driver who possesses a CERT IV in Training and Assessing and is looking to progress their career to a leadership/training role.

• Ensure all training and assessing comply with legislative/statutory obligations.
• Develop, deliver, evaluate and review local training and assessment documents to support rail safety worker training.
• Conduct job tuition of trainees in accordance with Aurizon’s RTO standards.
• Develop gap training plans and conduct re-training and assessment of rail safety workers who are assessed against the required criteria as not yet competent.
• Coordinate route and traction assessments for Locomotive Drivers.
• Ensure all training and assessment documentation is appropriately maintained, completed and recorded.
