Job Description

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor, the Operator is responsible for coordinating all activities on the conveyor by organizing the work orders at the load and unload stations, loading and unloading product, completing the required paperwork, and assisting the Shift Supervisor or Process Supervisor in the safe operation of the system.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation of the plant in the absence of the Shift Supervisor and/or Process Supervisor.
• Under the direction of the Process Supervisor:
  • Prepares dosimeters for work orders scheduled to be run.
  • Operates and takes readings on the dosimeter reader.
  • Assembles processed dosimeters with run data sheet, work orders and load/unload sheets.
  • Maintains accurate downtime and system configuration log.
