Operator Navigator

PG Global is seeking an Operator Navigator for a role in Malaysia. The candidate must be a Malaysian national and Sabahan based. The Candidate will be expected to operate navigation equipment and assist in planning, monitoring, and executing safe and efficient movement of vessels by determining position, route, and timing. This will be for 4 weeks and can potentially be ongoing.

Requirements

• Valid BOSIET
• Valid CA EBS
• Extensive ORCA software Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Voyage & Route Planning: Assist in preparing and updating nautical charts, maps, and passage plans; calculate courses, distances, fuel estimates, and estimated time of arrival (ETA).
