Operator - Transfer Station

• Great Hourly rate - Full time perm position 
• Monday to Friday + potential OT
• Day shift 6am - 2pm

The Opportunity 

We’re looking for a skilled Operator to join our team at our West Melbourne transfer station.

This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced with front end loader experience and tickets and is keen to contribute to essential waste operations that support the local environment.

Some of the responsibilities are as below. 

• Operating earthmoving equipment (excavators, bulldozers, forklift)
• Assist drivers with correct load placement
• Excavate and load dry waste (metal, wood, general rubbish and other material) to compact and cover waste
• Safely operate vehicles and equipment in line with procedures
• Assist with general housekeeping duties
