Job Description

About the role

As a key member of our Underground Paste Crew, you’ll play a critical role in keeping the mine running safely and efficiently below ground. Reporting to the Paste Supervisor, this is a hands-on operational role where your experience and judgement directly support ground stability, production schedules and safe mining outcomes.


You’ll be trusted to own your area, work autonomously underground and contribute to smooth, reliable paste fill delivery in a high-performing team environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Operate, monitor and maintain paste fill systems and reticulation underground

  • Complete pre- and post-paste inspections to ensure system integrity and safe outcomes

  • Actively manage consumables and identify opportunities to minimise downtime

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, report defects and support proactive maintenance
