**Job Summary**

The Ophthalmologist specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases and disorders of the eye and visual system. Trained to manage a wide range of ocular conditions, the Ophthalmologist provides both medical and surgical care for the cornea, retina, lens, optic nerve, and surrounding eye structures.
