Ophthalmology - Retinal Surgery - Physician

Mayo Clinic's Department of Ophthalmology in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a board eligible / board certified, fellowship trained vitreoretinal surgeon to join our practice. This position offers the opportunity to build a busy medical and surgical retina practice within Mayo Clinic's collaborative, mission driven academic environment. Additional niche expertise is desirable.

The ideal applicant will demonstrate exceptional surgical proficiency, experience in multidisciplinary teamwork, a strong commitment to teaching, and active participation in clinical research. Candidates should have an interest in academic medicine and contributing to education and scholarship at a national academic medical center.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology
• Fellowship trained in vitreoretinal surgery
• MD or DO (or equivalent)
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Arizona
