Summary

The Route Supervisor is responsible for scheduling and adjusting routes, managing daily operations and driver performance, and leading team meetings and training. Ensures safety compliance, handles incident reporting, and monitors productivity metrics. Acts as a key liaison with municipal staff while supporting strong customer service and effective team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Schedule routes; create and modify collection maps and areas.
• Hold regular meetings with your staff for morning start-ups.
• Attend all accidents and property damage incidents, fill out accident investigation reports and issue progressive discipline when required.
• Enter daily productivity statistics and discuss results with drivers as well as record and time keeping.
