Optical Engineer

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related field
• Preferably PRC licensed
• Proficiency in optical simulation tools
• Has operational knowledge and experience in light and optical lenses that apply to analog and digital product systems
• Experience with optical measurement tools and lab instrumentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with imaging systems, lasers, or fiber optics
• Familiarity with CAD tools and mechanical/thermal interfaces

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop optical systems, including lenses, illumination setups, and optical assemblies
• Perform optical modeling and simulations using software
• Develop tolerances, specifications, and test plans for optical components
• Conduct laboratory testing and validation of optical prototypes
