Pay: $120.00/hour Housing and flights provided for the Optometrist Locum Optometrist Opportunity: Examine patient's eyes to detect vision problems, diseases, and other abnormal conditions Prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses, and may prescribe drugs to treat eye disorders Engage in patient education regarding the care and treatment of eye conditions Optometrist must provide clinical eye care services in accordance to the hospitals mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures while applying standards of the eye care profession.
