Job Overview

We are looking for a Consultant with a specialist knee interest to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic (T&O) department at Weston General Hospital. The role is a replacement post in the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedics with a full-time commitment of 10 days per annum, including a 1 in 8 weekend on‑call rota for adult trauma. Elective surgery will be conducted through the elective Knightstone Unit and general trauma on‑call support. The candidate will be responsible for day‑to‑day patient management, decision making, theatre planning, fracture clinic and trauma list running, ward rounds, resident supervision, and teaching.
