Orthopedic Surgeon Needed at East Kootenay

Become a vital member of the Orthopaedic Department at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. This full-time role focuses on both general and specialized orthopedic cases, enriching community health.
We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon with experience in essential orthopedic procedures and a willingness to engage with the community. You will cover hip/knee arthroplasties while collaborating on call duties. Ongoing elective surgeries and opportunities in the cast clinic enhance your skillset.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee general orthopaedics and specialized surgery needs
• Participate in an equitable call schedule of 1:5
• Conduct elective surgeries on a weekly basis
• Collaborate in the cast clinic with certified technicians
• Possible shared or independent office arrangement
Requirements:
• Fellowship training in relevant specialties is a plus
