Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Healthcare System seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to add to their orthopedic team. This Physician Assistant will directly work with an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle. The position is a combination of office and OR. Cases include; Ankle replacement, trauma, reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery and some deformity. Responsibilities include first assisting, casting, consulting, rounding, patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results, H&P, and pre and post-op follow up. Also, there is an opportunity to work in ortho urgent care (additional compensation).

Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The location is within the Fort Wayne area! The area provides great quality of life, very low cost of living, outdoor recreational activities and all the amenities of a major metro area.
