JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Head of the Local Orthopedics Division and the Medical Director for the sector, the orthopedic surgeon studies, diagnoses and treats illnesses and disorders of the locomotor system.

The orthopedic surgeon treats patients from birth to an advanced age for the full range of musculoskeletal lesions and illnesses. Patients may present problems affecting any anatomical element related to the skeleton, namely the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerves.
