**Job Requirements**

32 hour per week fulltime position, focuses on performing the following duties:

+ Performs, prescribes and analyzes results for the treatment of illnesses, diseases, injuries and conditions related to the eye.
+ Tasks include vision assessments, eye surgeries and advanced forms of eye disease in patients with significant systemic illness.
+ Help support specialized eye examination in pedi patients and strabismus in adults. Also assisting the pediatric opthalmologist with pediatric patients with ocular misalignment.
+ Responsible for evaluating and recommending treatment of patients with ocular motility disturbances.
+ Assists Opthalmologist in all aspects of patient care including diagnostic testing and preliminary examination.

**Work Experience**

+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Completion of a two year Orthoptist or Opthalmic Medical Tech program
+ Orthoptist or Opthalmic Medical Tech Certification
