OSH Safety Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure that the workplace is safe, healthy and compliant with safety laws ang regulation.
• Conduct workplace inspection (Head office and E-Tracc areas)
• To be able to perform risk assessments
• Recommend control measures to reduce or eliminate risks.
• To be able to develop and create safety procedures and safe work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with local safety legislation.
• Develop or improve policies as regulations changes
• Monitor adherence to occupational health and safety laws.
• Maintain required documentation and records.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Prepare for audits and inspections.
• Conduct safety inductions/orientation to new hire.
• Organize safety training sessions.
• Promote safety awareness campaigns.
• Educate workers on proper use of PPE.
