OSP Designer

Overview
The OSP Designer will be responsible for engineering and designing fiber optic network systems, with hands-on experience in both Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) environments. The role requires in-depth knowledge of permitting processes, pole and conduit licensing, and coordination with utility agencies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience obtaining agreements, licenses, and approvals related to deeds, leases, easements, and rights-of-way (ROW). The OSP Designer will work closely with the Field Engineering and Construction Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
Receive and process field-collected data to develop cost-efficient fiber network route designs per customer specifications.
Analyze local and wide area network systems to determine optimal fiber paths.
Read and interpret highway/road prints, utility maps, and as-built drawings to identify potential conflicts.
