OT Infrastructure & Backup Deployment Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure VMs in local edge environments
• Install and manage OT backup components (MfgFSBackup, backup agents, Rubrik integration)
• Support deployment of NAS/storage and backup appliances
• Perform system hardening and ensure compatibility with legacy OT systems
• Define and coordinate network prerequisites (VLANs, IPs, routing)
• Support firewall configurations and connectivity between OT, edge, and central platforms
• Collaborate with plant IT/OT teams and central network/security teams
• Integrate edge infrastructure with central backup platforms (Rubrik, cloud storage)
• Configure backup jobs, schedules, and data flows
• Support API integrations (ServiceNow CMDB/OTSM)
• Validate data consistency and connectivity
• Support onboarding of new factory sites with standardized deployment approach
