JOB DETAILS

•To ensure the following equipments are ready before surgery in working condition Anaesthesia machine, single or multichannel monitor, pulse oxymeter, diathermy machine, C-arm, OT table, portable suction, OT light, laparoscopic machine, harmonic scalpel etc.
•To operate and maintain all the medical equipment in the operation theatre.
•To ensure central supply of oxygen and nitrous oxide, central suction available and are in working condition
•To ensure the availability of portable suction apparatus.
•To impart training to juniors / new inductees.
•To position the patient according to the surgery.
•To assist anesthetists and surgeon during surgery at the time of intubation, extubation, and to keep drugs for IV infusions and blood transfusions, and also to have knowledge to face any emergency situation.
•To ensure the anesthetic machine is ready with the following ET tube, jelly, airways pray, plasters, eye ointm...
