Outdoor Predator Control Ranger – Protect NZ’s Rare Birds

The Department of Conservation - Te Papa Atawhai is seeking a dedicated individual to help protect New Zealand’s rarest native bird. This full-time, permanent role based in the Mahurangi Warkworth office involves outdoor work in Auckland and Northland, with a salary range of $61,189 to $67,446, depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities include trapping and baiting predators, maintaining trap lines, and providing operational support. The ideal candidate will have skills in predator ecology and the ability to work independently.
