Outpatient Officer

Your Role at St John of God, Midland Hospital

Are you organised, proactive, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care? We are seeking a dedicated Outpatients Officer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis, working 76 hours per fortnight. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of our busy Outpatients Department. You will liaise with clinicians, coordinate appointments, book patients, prepare clinic packs, and answer the main outpatient phone line with professionalism and warmth.

This Outpatient Officer position will be in position at our front desk which includes processing of all incoming referrals, using various databases. This includes excellent attention to detail and is a data entry position with patient facing customer service. It does involve liaising via phone and email with stakeholders and clinicians and working within a small team of experienced Outpatient Officers.
