**Job Summary**

Qualified to perform the construction, maintenance, and repairs of overhead electrical distribution systems.

Lineman are responsible for assembling and setting poles, stringing lines, installing and connecting underground utilities. Assembling and installing additional pole mounted equipment. Inspecting lines for damage, testing equipment, and making necessay repairs.

Lineman must adhere to strict safety protocols, including using protective equipment and following industry regulations to minimize risks associated with high-voltage electricity.
