DATA AND VISUALIZATION SPECIALIST JOB SUMMARY The Data and Visualization Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating municipal geospatial and non-geospatial datasets to support municipal departments and services. The role involves data collection, editing, quality assurance, and spatial/non-spatial analysis to inform decision-making. 
The Data and Visualization Specialist will prepare maps, reports, and other visualizations, and provide data support across departments. 
EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalency. 
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in geographic information systems (GIS), Urban Planning, Geography or a related field.
