Packaging Machine Operator I - 2nd Shift (Soledad-VAP)

GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and PMO Lead, this position is responsible for operating all Hayssen and Triangle packaging equipment in a safe and responsible manner following the Packaging Machine Operator SOP.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS / DUTIES OF THE POSITION

• Operate all Hayssen and Triangle packaging equipment
• Work around machinery and equipment
• Perform forming tube changeovers (7, 8, 9, 10, 2lbs, 3lbs, and 5lbs)
• Operate Yamato and Ishida scales
• Maintain the area clean
• Perform extensive problem solving
• Complete paperwork duties
• Perform quality checks, product changeover, and re-supplying of film
