Paid Internship – Mechanical Drafting

Position Summary
AVANT Gulf Consulting Solutions is offering a paid internship for fresh BSc Mechanical Engineers and Associate Mechanical Engineers to gain hands-on experience in 2D engineering drawings, specifically Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for industrial projects. Basic knowledge of industrial plants (oil & gas). A person should be able to write and update technical specifications in Smart Draw by using equipment data sheets or other supporting documents

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise 2D PFD and Smart P&ID drawings
• Support senior engineers in drawing development
• Implement mark-ups and review comments
• Ensure compliance with project standards

Required Qualifications

• BSc Mechanical Engineering or DAE / Associate Mechanical Engineering
• Fresh graduates or up to 1 year of experience
• Basic understanding of PFDs, P&IDs, and symbols
